The Alcove and Tomorrow’s Women Today Announce Strategic Partnership to Expand Support for Women & Gender Expansive Leaders Across Rhode Island
Two nonprofit communities will collaborate to increase access to meaningful connection, leadership development, wellness programming, and professional growth opportunities for women and gender expansive people.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - September 3, 2026 - The Alcove and Tomorrow’s Women Today (TWToday) announce a strategic community partnership designed to expand leadership development, professional growth and community building opportunities for women and gender expansive people across Rhode Island.
Through the 2026-2027 partnership, the organizations will connect their communities of women leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals, caregivers, creators, and changemakers through shared programming, reciprocal membership benefits, and intentional opportunities to build relationships across industries and stages of leadership.
“This partnership is an opportunity for our membership of women and gender expansive people to expand their circle, and experience thoughtfully curated programming around leadership at all levels,” said Amanda E. Strauss, Founding Executive Director of The Alcove. “It is a deep and meaningful partnership that advances our shared missions of uplifting women and celebrating our accomplishments. We are claiming space, creating intentional connections, and building a new world.”
Members of both communities will have access to:
Reciprocal membership benefits;
Women’s leadership workshops and guest-speaker events;
Programming focused on professional growth, wellness, entrepreneurship, and community engagement;
Opportunities for members to meet, collaborate, exchange ideas, and support one another; and
Expanded access to the networks, resources, and programming offered by both organizations
“Women leaders need more than traditional networking,” said Lauren Pimpare, Founder and President of Tomorrow’s Women TODAY. “They need trusted spaces where they can share experiences, learn from one another, ask for support, and build relationships that help them grow personally and professionally. By partnering with The Alcove, we can strengthen the network of support available to women across Rhode Island.”
The communities will first come together for a special Mix & Mingle on September 24, open to TWToday members and members of The Alcove.
The partnership will be formally celebrated at an Official Partnership Launch Celebration on October 29 from 6:00–7:30 p.m.at The Alcove. The event will introduce members of both communities, highlight upcoming collaborative programming, and create space for meaningful relationship-building among women leaders across Rhode Island.
The organizations also plan to host three women’s leadership development workshops and guest speaker events during the partnership year. The first workshop, anticipated for December, will explore wellness as an essential leadership skill. Additional programming will address topics relevant to women’s professional development, leadership and well-being. “By bringing our communities together, we can create more opportunities for women to connect across industries, experiences, and stages of leadership,” Pimpare added. “We are excited to build something meaningful together and expand the ways women throughout Rhode Island can learn, grow, and lead.”
Additional event details and registration information will be announced soon.
